Make the lender handoff easier to navigate

Build a lender room around the materials the lender actually asked for. Organize approved source files in Documents, assemble a Share Page with a clear index, review access settings, and share only when the recipient and submission route are confirmed. Keep missing items visible instead of hiding them behind a polished room.

This is a borrower preparation room, not a replacement for the lender's application portal. Ask whether the lender accepts links before choosing the handoff.

Separate the internal pack from the shared room

Internal working packApproved lender room
Source records, draft explanations and review questionsOnly materials cleared for this recipient
Missing-file list and unresolved financial definitionsA clear index plus agreed outstanding items
Confidential identifiers and adviser notes where necessaryMinimum necessary disclosed information
Preparation decisions and access ownersRecipient-facing navigation and contact route

The internal library is not permission to publish every file. A room for an equipment conversation may differ from a room for an acquisition or renewal. Use the provider's request and your disclosure policy, not a generic investor-room checklist.

Build the room in five steps

  1. Make an approved-file index. List the lender requirement, file name, business entity, covered period, source owner and disclosure state. Mark missing, unverified and not-applicable items separately.
  2. Upload the chosen files. Use supported uploads to Documents. Confirm the file is accessible and readable. Searchable formats can provide Aurora context; storage alone does not make every file searchable. A connected Drive source does not automatically populate this library.
  3. Prepare the introduction and index. In main Aurora chat, ask for a concise project summary from approved sources. Review it before adding it to the room. Use document generation there when you need a saved file.
  4. Assemble the Share Page. Add the approved documents, summary, contact route and outstanding-items note. In the builder, Aurora can help create a page from supported context; downloadable-file creation belongs in main chat rather than the page builder.
  5. Review access before publication. Choose the supported identity and download controls appropriate to this recipient. Test the recipient experience with an authorized reviewer. Email-gating does not make every visitor known, and a viewing event does not establish lender approval.

The existing AI room-construction workflow explains the builder mechanics. This recipe changes the disclosure pack and decision purpose for a lender. See Share Pages for the available page and access controls.

A prompt for the lender-facing introduction

Using only these approved files, prepare a short introduction for this lender's document room. Describe the business, proposed project and supplied materials. List outstanding items without claiming the application is complete. Cite the source file for factual statements. Do not add confidential identifiers, publish the page or send a link.

Illustrative result: a clear equipment-financing handoff

A fictional business has a machine quote, approved project brief and the exact financial package requested by its lender. An installation quote is still pending. Its room opens with the project purpose, links the three approved files, and says “Installation quote to follow after supplier confirmation.”

The lender can find what was supplied and what remains open. The business has not claimed a complete application or obtained financing by publishing the page. This is a synthetic editorial example, not a live customer room.

Keep the receipt with the relationship

Record who reviewed the materials, which files were shared, the room's access setting, the recipient route, the time of the handoff and remaining requests. If the official application uses a portal, save the actual portal receipt separately after submission.

Identified room activity can add context to a relationship. Anonymous activity remains anonymous. Do not turn a preview or time-on-page into a conclusion about credit approval, seriousness or likely terms.

Fix these issues before sharing

If a file contains material not approved for the recipient, remove it from the shared pack and review the underlying file. If the financial period is wrong, replace the shared item with the approved current material and recheck the index. If the lender rejects share links, follow its official secure route. If an item is missing, assign a next action rather than label the room complete.

Continue with the lender document-request review. Keep document control and follow-through connected without implying enterprise-VDR, legal-completeness or loan-servicing capabilities.
