How to Apply to Start-Up Chile with Finta

Choose a Start-Up Chile track, prepare a source-backed evidence packet and verify the current call before submitting through the official route.

By FintaPublished October 25, 2026

Aurora and Tempo organize a fictional timeline showing Build, Ignite and Growth.

What you will learn

  • Distinguish Build, Ignite and Growth preparation needs.
  • Verify current-call requirements without borrowing old terms.
  • Build a claim-to-source packet and founder review checklist.

To prepare a Start-Up Chile application, choose the relevant Build, Ignite or Growth track, read the current call documents, and connect each company claim to evidence. Then complete the program's official application. The worksheet below helps you decide what to prepare before you open the form.

Source check: October 22, 2026. The official application page says applications open soon. Build asks readers to watch for the next process; Ignite and Growth also say a new opening is coming. We did not confirm a new deadline or current-call terms. Preparation can continue, but an application link in a navigation menu is not proof that a call is open.

This is an independent Finta preparation guide, not an official Start-Up Chile application, endorsement or assessment of your legal eligibility. Use the official Start-Up Chile application information for the submission route and governing documents.

What you will learn

  • Choose a track to investigate from the company's current evidence.
  • Distinguish a current call requirement from an older brochure or general program description.
  • Prepare a company, team and execution packet that a founder can verify before submission.

Contents: Choose the track; check the call; complete the worksheet; work through an example; practice with AI; review and submit.

1. Choose the track from your current stage

Start-Up Chile's official pages distinguish Build's early-stage pre-acceleration, Ignite's functional-product and validation focus, and Growth's expansion-stage support. These descriptions help you investigate fit. They are not a substitute for the next call's detailed eligibility and selection rules.

Track-fit questions to answer before drafting

Route to investigateEvidence to gatherQuestion that could change the decision
BuildProblem validation, prototype state, founder work and next experiment.Does the current call accept this project's development history and proposed team leader?
IgniteA working product, actual use or customer validation, and the next commercial milestone.Do the product state and company history meet the current call's conditions?
GrowthCommercial results, operational capacity and a defined expansion plan.Does the current call's expansion profile match the company's verified figures and plans?

Do not select a track simply because its headline support looks larger. Describe the milestone you need to reach, the evidence you already have, and what the program would contribute. If the company could plausibly fit two tracks, record the ambiguity and ask the program team rather than manufacture a confident answer.

2. Create a current-call record

Save the exact call name and generation, official application route, terms document, any amendments, and the date you checked them. Record the deadline together with its stated time zone when one is published. If the source does not state a time zone, mark it unresolved and confirm it before making a submission plan.

The program pages include older generation references. Older terms and brochures can help you understand the program, but cannot establish a new call's funding, eligible expenses, attendance period or legal conditions. Avoid copying an old grant amount or converting it to a new currency estimate as if it were a current offer.

  • Who may apply: individual or legal entity, company history, team leader and other current conditions.
  • What participation requires: location, availability, execution responsibilities and reporting.
  • What the offer means: funding instrument, conditions, company contribution, permitted spending and timing.
  • How review works: application materials, requested evidence and any interview instructions.

These are verification questions, not claims that the same conditions apply to every track. For legal, tax, immigration or contract questions, consult the relevant qualified adviser and the official program contact.

3. Fill in the application evidence worksheet

Use one row per important statement. A useful source is something your team can find again, such as an approved customer-research note, product record or accounting report. Keep sensitive records private; your working packet does not need to become a public document.

TopicYour draftEvidence and dateGap or next action
Customer problemWho experiences the problem and what they do today.Research method, participant context and approved notes.Which claim still rests on opinion?
Current productWhat works today, separated from planned features.Demonstration, release record or prototype test. What limitation should be disclosed?
Stage and trackWhy this specific route fits the next milestone.Company facts plus exact current-call criteria.Which condition needs confirmation?
Commercial evidenceUsage, paid activity or other relevant validation with definitions.Period, units, source and whether figures are historical. Are pilots being mistaken for paying customers?
Chile execution planWhy the company would use Chile as part of the work.Customer, technical, partner or operational rationale. What is unknown about location and execution obligations?
Team responsibilitiesWho owns product, customer work and program execution.Confirmed experience and actual availability.Which responsibility has no accountable person?
Resources and constraintsWhat the proposed work needs and what the company can commit.Current-call permitted costs and team-reviewed assumptions. What requires professional or program clarification?

Write a short company explanation after the table, not before it. State the customer, the job, what exists and the next test. If a form imposes a character limit, preserve the facts while shortening the answer; do not remove a qualification that makes the statement true.

4. Worked example: a functional product without expansion proof

Fictional example, not a Finta customer or an accepted application. AndesShelf is building inventory-planning software for independent food retailers. Its founders have a functional prototype and two unpaid trials. They want to investigate whether Chilean retailers face the same stock-planning problem.

A weak draft says, “We are a fast-growing international platform ready to scale across Latin America.” The supplied facts do not establish growth, international customers or expansion readiness. A clearer preparation draft says, “We built inventory-planning software for independent food retailers. Two retailers are testing the prototype without payment. Our next step is to measure whether managers use the weekly recommendations and to interview retailers in Chile about their current process.”

How the fictional team turns the draft into decisions

ObservationPreparation decisionEvidence still needed
A functional prototype exists.Investigate the current Ignite criteria alongside the company's actual development history.Current-call eligibility and a demonstration of the working scope.
Trials are unpaid.Describe them as unpaid trials, not revenue or customer traction.Trial dates, usage definitions and permission to describe the work.
Chile is a proposed market.Explain the research plan rather than claim demand is proven.Relevant interviews or other direct market evidence.

This process does not decide the team's eligibility or selection. It produces a more accurate application and a list of questions that the founders can resolve before committing.

5. Review the packet with Aurora, Claude or Codex

Try this with Aurora AI in Finta, Claude or Codex. Provide only material you are authorized to share. The assistant needs the official text and your facts; do not assume it can access an application account, private records or the latest call automatically.

Help me prepare a Start-Up Chile application evidence packet for [Build, Ignite or Growth and exact call].
Use only [official call/terms URLs or text and checked date], [company facts with source dates], [team and location constraints], and [current draft].
First separate current-call rules, older reference material, company facts, and unknowns. Do not copy terms from a different generation.
Return: (1) a track-fit table with evidence and unresolved conditions; (2) a draft company explanation; (3) a claim-to-source checklist; (4) missing-information tasks with owners; and (5) questions for the official program team.
Label any hypothetical example. Do not invent traction, grant amounts, eligible expenses, legal eligibility, a deadline or visa approval. Do not submit forms, contact anyone or change records. I will review the draft and verify the official application before submission.

Check the returned table against the sources yourself. If the assistant treats an older brochure as current or converts a proposed milestone into completed traction, correct the evidence before polishing the wording.

6. Review, then use the official submission route

  1. Reopen the current call page and confirm that it is accepting applications.
  2. Verify every company figure, program condition and required document.
  3. Have the founders review the final answer set and any professional questions.
  4. Submit through the official route, then retain the submitted version and confirmation privately.

Keep the preparation task separate from the submission. Finta does not represent Start-Up Chile, determine grant eligibility or submit this application for you. Use the funding-application deadline workflow to organize confirmed dates and missing materials, and the accelerator directory to compare other routes.

Start-Up Chile application questions

Are applications open now?

At our October 22, 2026 source check, the application and track pages directed readers to wait for a forthcoming opening. No new deadline was confirmed. Check the official page again before submitting.

Does an international application mean I can participate remotely?

No such inference is safe. Read the current call's location, team-leader and execution requirements. Discuss immigration questions with qualified advisers rather than rely on a preparation guide.

Should I reuse the same answer for Build, Ignite and Growth?

Reuse verified company facts, but match the explanation and evidence to the exact route and question. Do not change the company's factual stage to make a preferred track appear suitable.

Can Aurora complete the official form?

This exercise prepares text and review questions from supplied evidence. The founder reviews the result and uses the official application process. It does not provide access to the program portal or authorize submission.
