How to Apply to Antler with Finta

Choose an Antler location and route before preparing the application.

By FintaPublished October 25, 2026

Aurora and Nova organize a fictional program selection showing Founder, Company and Location.

What you will learn

  • Choose an Antler location and route before preparing the application.
  • Turn founder experience into a specific, auditable evidence board.
  • Keep regional requirements, participation and investment decisions separate.

Prepare an Antler application by choosing the correct location and route before writing a founder story. Antler’s regional programs differ, and a residency, a direct investment discussion and a later expansion program need not have the same entry point. Your preparation should make your starting state, founder contribution and next building milestone clear.

Start from Antler’s official locations and the application control on the relevant local page. This guide gives you a location-first worksheet and a founder-evidence exercise. It is not an Antler application form or a prediction of investment.

A current route is more useful than a global deadline

Sources checked October 22, 2026. The US page describes year-round application review and an in-person community in New York, San Francisco and Austin. Its residency application link redirects to Antler’s official application route. The cohort calendar explicitly distinguishes start dates from application deadlines.

The fetched UK page still displayed a September 2026 start, now in the past, while an older residency route exposed other historical dates. This guide does not infer the next UK intake from them. Confirm a future local call before arranging participation. US rolling review is not a global rolling-admission promise.

Select the route that matches your present situation

Use the table as an original private research record. The rows are questions to resolve, not universal Antler rules.

Antler location and route selector

Your situationWhat to verify on the local official pageEvidence to prepare
Individual before a companyWhether the route serves individuals, how team formation works and the required commitmentPersonal building record, areas of insight and current constraints.
Early team with an ideaWhether the local route accepts your stage and what each founder must submitDistinct founder contributions and what you have built together.
MVP or early customersWhether a residency or a direct investment discussion is the relevant routeCurrent product state, customer definitions, funding history and next milestone.
Different location from your homeAttendance, work authorization, timing and practical relocationQuestions for the local team and qualified advisers; no assumed visa permission.
A named expansion programIts specific stage, geography and purposeEvidence relevant to that program, not copied residency requirements.

Keep investment economics separate from the application. Admission, participation and an investment decision are different states. Never describe a headline maximum, a conditional follow-on amount, or access to credits as money already available to every applicant. Read the exact local documents before accepting an offer.

Build a founder-evidence board

Antler’s pages use strong founder language, but a preparation document should remain concrete. Replace a personality label with something you did and learned. This is Finta’s editorial exercise, not a reconstruction of a private selection rubric.

Worked example: choose a route before polishing the biography

Fictional teaching case. Nikhil is a developer exploring inventory handoffs for independent repair shops. He has built a small prototype, has no cofounder, and has not tested it in a shop. He is based outside the US and does not yet know which locations he can participate in.

Unhelpful draft: I am a relentless founder ready for the global Antler accelerator and its guaranteed funding.

More useful preparation: I built a prototype that links a part reservation to a repair request. It currently uses synthetic records and has not been tested with a shop. I want to investigate whether this handoff is a meaningful problem. Before selecting a route, I need to verify which local program fits an individual at this stage and which participation conditions I can meet.

The revision does not claim an application qualifies, a visa will be available, or funding is guaranteed. It identifies the work Nikhil has actually done and the questions he must resolve before spending time on the wrong route.

A practical preparation sequence

  1. Choose one location to investigate. Record the exact local page, route and check date. Avoid combining attractive conditions from several regions.
  2. State your stage. Individual, team, product, customers and prior investment should agree across the materials.
  3. Build the evidence board. Select examples with personal attribution and clear limitations.
  4. Resolve constraints. List what the program must clarify and what requires your own qualified advice.
  5. Write for the actual prompt. Follow live questions and limits rather than a generic internet template.
  6. Review the final transfer. Test permitted links and inspect the form yourself before submitting.

Use the pre-revenue traction lesson when you need to distinguish learning from revenue and the founder bio template for an accurate account of experience. Neither establishes Antler eligibility.

Practice prompt: prepare an Antler route and evidence brief

Try this with Aurora AI in Finta, Claude, or Codex. Supply only material you are authorized to share. This is a text-review exercise, not access to the accelerator portal or permission to send an application.

Help me prepare an Antler application brief for my chosen location.
Inputs: [exact location and official route], [source excerpts and check dates], [individual/team/product/customer stage], [my verified building examples], [funding history if relevant], [availability and unresolved participation questions].
Return a route-fit record, a founder-evidence board and draft answers to the current supplied prompts. Separate facts from interpretation and future plans. Identify where local requirements or dates remain unverified; do not borrow terms from another region.
Do not promise admission, funding, visa eligibility, introductions or cofounder matching. Do not invent traction, rewrite another founder’s contribution as mine, or infer an investment decision from participation. All output is for human review. Do not log in, contact anyone, submit or change records.

Questions about applying to Antler

Is every location on the same schedule?

No. Use the relevant local page and distinguish a start date from an application deadline. A past date does not establish a next intake.

Can an individual and an existing team use the same advice?

They can use the evidence method, but must verify the local entry route and describe their actual stage. Do not manufacture a cofounder or a customer to fit an assumed profile.

Does entering a residency guarantee an investment?

Do not assume that. Read the exact local process and offer; participation and investment are distinct decisions.

Can Aurora select my immigration route?

No. It can organize questions from sources you supply. Eligibility and personal immigration decisions require the program’s confirmation and appropriate qualified advice.

Review, then submit through the official channel

Read the final answers in the actual form, check every claim and attachment, and confirm the program and cohort again. Keep your own approved copy. The founder submits through Antler’s official application route. Preparing a draft in Finta does not submit it or establish that it was received.

Compare Antler with other program types in the accelerator directory. Keep verified dates and unresolved questions in the funding-application tracker.

This is an independent Finta preparation guide, not an accelerator application portal or an endorsed admissions service. Finta does not predict admission or speak for the program.
