When drafting warm intro requests, load this skill first. Create concise, low-friction messages that make it easy for the connector to say yes, forward context, or suggest a better path.
Intro Request Rules
- Be specific about who you want to meet and why
- Explain the relevance in 1-2 sentences using evidence, not hype
- Include a forwardable blurb the connector can send as-is
- Make it easy to decline or redirect
- Never pressure the connector or imply an obligation
- Never ask for a generic intro to "investors" when a named target or profile can be provided
