Research venture capital in Oman by matching your operating connection, company stage and funding job to an actual investment team or program.
This guide compares 15 Oman-connected and wider Gulf/MENA routes. Some local routes share public-fund relationships, while regional managers have their own mandates. The list is not 15 independent pools of capital or a guarantee of eligibility.
Start with the financing job
- Record the founder, company and customer connection to Oman.
- Describe the next technical, customer or expansion milestone.
- Identify whether the route is direct equity, an accelerator with possible funding or a strategic investment.
- Check the present vehicle, decision maker and application process directly.
Compare 15 Oman investor routes
Use provider type, stage and geographic connection together. An office address is not a promise of eligibility. Where the current source does not establish a precise entry stage, the table leaves that question open.
Selected Oman-connected and regional investor and funding routes researched October 30, 2026. Related public-fund routes are labeled; confirm current criteria directly. On small screens, scroll the table sideways to see every column.

Distinguish Oman-specific routes from Gulf mandates
OTF Scale, Sharakah, Omantel and ITHCA describe Oman-connected activities. Phaze is headquartered in Oman and distinguishes a local vehicle from a wider AI and deep-tech strategy. Other firms publish Gulf or MENA mandates, which do not by themselves establish a specific Omani company's eligibility.
Describe the actual team, operating and customer markets before asking the current fund how its criteria apply.
Avoid counting related public-fund routes twice
OTF Scale describes a relationship with Oman Future Fund. Omantel describes potential investment through a related fund and an accelerator process. ITHCA has strategic direct investments and separate fund interests. These are useful routes with different decisions, not automatically independent sources of capital for the same round.
Record the manager, vehicle and decision maker once you know them. A program acceptance, pilot or fund allocation is not an investment commitment to the company.
Match the company's milestone to the current thesis
OTF Scale describes ideation-stage financing; ITHCA's direct investment page describes more mature strategic technology businesses. Phaze focuses on early AI and deep tech. These are different starting points even when a company has an Oman connection.
Prepare the evidence for the next decision: a clear problem and first test, a working product, paying customers or an expansion case. Verify the current vehicle instead of relying on a historical portfolio round.
Build a practical shortlist
Choose candidates with a documented reason to investigate, save the official source and date, and record one open question and next action. A longer directory should improve research, not turn into indiscriminate outreach.
Investor profiles and official routes
These profiles are a research aid, not a performance ranking. Read the current strategy and portfolio before sharing a deck. A public contact route does not establish that a firm has available allocation for your round.
Middle East Venture Partners
Regional venture firm. Dubai office within a regional investment platform. MEVP's current website separates founder funding from general contact and investor communications. Match the company's operating evidence to its early or growth-stage discussion. The application route is publicly linked, but its client-rendered form was not fully inspected; confirm the current submission process before sharing confidential material.

Nuwa Capital
Regional venture manager. Published locations in Dubai, Riyadh and Cairo. Nuwa's current site presents its investment, network and value-creation teams and a regional portfolio. Treat those examples as a starting point for research, not a universal sector or stage mandate. State the customer, market and financing milestone, then ask which current strategy evaluates that combination.
Nuwa Capital: official investment information
Shorooq
Multi-strategy investment platform. Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices; regional and separate global strategies. Select the strategy before selecting the brand. Bedaya addresses the beginning of a company, the Presight-Shorooq platform addresses global AI, and Qatalyst addresses proven late-stage businesses. Credit, private equity and investor co-investment products are not interchangeable startup venture routes.
Shorooq: official investment information
VentureSouq
Thematic venture manager. MENA-based manager with a global portfolio and Abu Dhabi regulatory presence. The current site labels fintech and climate strategies active and the earlier Global Seed strategy deployed. That is a useful reason to research the present fund rather than reuse an old generalist profile. An investor symposium or education program does not constitute a company funding offer.

Plus VC
Early-stage venture firm. MENA-focused investment strategy. Plus VC describes initial investment at seed and further capital for selected existing portfolio companies up to Series A. A new Series A applicant should not assume that follow-on language means unrestricted new entry at that stage. Use the official funding route and make the company's stage and regional operating facts explicit.

RAED Ventures
Early-stage venture firm. MENA focus with a Saudi ecosystem connection. RAED describes early-stage MENA investment. Explain the company's real operating market and confirm the relevant current fund and process.

STV
Venture capital and growth-equity platform. Middle East and North Africa. STV describes venture capital and growth equity with distinct strategies. A portfolio company or training program does not by itself establish new-company eligibility.
STV: official investment information
Khwarizmi Ventures
Venture capital firm. GCC focus; Riyadh base. Khwarizmi publishes a GCC focus and seed-to-Series A range. Confirm the specific company and fund criteria rather than assuming all GCC applicants qualify.

Wamda Capital
Evergreen venture investor. MENA entrepreneurship and company-building ecosystem. Wamda describes an evergreen structure and a founder-led approach. Its long-term orientation is not evidence that every stage or sector is eligible. Explain how the business creates value in its operating markets, what is already working and what new capital will accomplish; use the company contact route rather than a newsletter signup.

Access Bridge Ventures
Early-stage venture fund. Published UAE and Saudi presence; MENA investment remit. Its current thesis asks for traction, validation, scalability and capital efficiency. Turn those criteria into evidence: the user, paying customer, usage, business model and next milestone. A named institutional backer or ecosystem partner is not automatically another direct investor in the applicant's startup.

OTF Scale
Ideation-stage investment route. Oman-focused route under the Oman Future Fund umbrella. OTF Scale describes an ideation-stage route and a separate Oman Future Fund application platform. Check the current vehicle, founder and company conditions; its work with Al Jabr is part of the same route, not another independent investor.

Sharakah Ventures
Early-stage equity financing route. Oman-connected venture route within Sharakah. Sharakah describes pre-seed and seed investment alongside other financing products. Identify the venture route and confirm its current process rather than counting loans, advisory programs and equity as separate funds.

Omantel Innovation Labs
Corporate accelerator and investment route. Oman accelerator with a related investment route. Omantel says investment access is potential and subject to committee approval, not guaranteed by program acceptance. Confirm the current cohort, company connection and relevant fund before applying.

ITHCA Group
Strategic technology investment platform. Oman strategic investment mandate. ITHCA describes direct investments in strategically aligned Oman businesses and separately invests in funds. Compare its growth criteria with the company's actual maturity; do not count its related fund interests as independent commitments.

Phaze Ventures
Early-stage venture firm. Oman-headquartered manager with GCC and North American focus. Phaze's October 2026 announcement distinguishes a global deep-tech and AI fund from an Oman-focused vehicle. Count the manager once, identify the relevant fund and verify current company criteria.

Worked example: an Oman industrial-software team
Illustrative example, not an investment recommendation. A fictional Oman-based team has built a prototype for monitoring industrial equipment. One prospective customer is discussing a pilot; there is no signed contract yet.

Methodology, research date and local guides
Research checked October 30, 2026 by the Finta Editorial Team with AI-assisted source review. We reviewed publicly available sources, including official strategy, portfolio, location, fund-backer or founder-contact information. Firms with multiple offices count once; angel networks count as networks, not one committed pooled fund. We distinguish local presence from investment mandate and company eligibility. We do not infer check sizes, investor returns, lead behavior or open allocation from a portfolio logo.
We combined official Oman-connected investment and program research with selected Gulf/MENA manager strategies. Related public-fund, manager and accelerator routes are disclosed rather than treated as independent pools of capital. A regional label does not establish present company eligibility.
The selection is not exhaustive or a performance ranking. Confirm current vehicles and application routes directly.
Informational purposes only. Finta is not a law firm or accounting firm. This is general fundraising information, not personalized financial, legal or tax advice. Discuss financing and tax matters with your attorney or accountant.
This is a selected research directory, not an exhaustive register or sponsored ranking. Confirm the current vehicle, team and process directly before relying on a fit decision.
