Research venture capital in North America by comparing your company's real operating markets, funding stage and each investor's published mandate. A British Columbia climate company, a Texas healthcare startup and a Mexican-market software team can need different investor routes.
This selected guide compares 25 investment routes connected to the United States, Canada or Latin American markets including Mexico. Some managers invest more broadly. It is a cross-border comparison, not a claim that each firm invests in every North American country.
Map actual company operations before the investor list
- Separate facts. Record founder, company, team and customer locations independently.
- Check the country mandate. A Canadian company criterion differs from a North American strategy or a Latin American market thesis.
- Match the financing stage. Inception, seed and growth funds use different entry points.
- Choose the vehicle. Direct startup capital, regional public investment and fund allocation have different processes.
Compare 25 North American investor routes
Use provider type, stage and geographic connection together. An office address is not a promise of eligibility. Where the current source does not establish a precise entry stage, the table leaves that question open.
Selected North America-connected investment routes researched October 29, 2026. A North American office or portfolio company is not a universal eligibility rule. On small screens, scroll the table sideways to see every column.

National requirements differ from a cross-border label
N49P describes Canadian technology companies, and InBC describes British Columbia businesses and economic impact. Luge states Canada and US investment activity; ATX describes a North American applied-AI strategy. DILA describes Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs doing business in Latin America and a separate US Hispanic market focus.
These are different research routes, not shared eligibility rules. Confirm the actual current fund and company connection with the manager.
Compare first-stage capital with specialist and growth strategies
Panache describes pre-seed, First Round and Golden Ventures describe seed, and Georgian identifies a growth-oriented technology strategy. FCA publishes a healthcare focus; Luge describes financial technology; Cultivation separates several sector strategies.
Choose based on the next financing milestone and actual customer or technical evidence. A later portfolio round does not establish a new company's first-check fit.
Use country and city guides for local depth
This continental page compares managers and mandates. The linked Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Seattle, New York, Austin and Mexico resources provide more local context; they are not combined into one long duplicate list.
Mexico-facing companies should check a regional manager's current Mexican operating-market thesis rather than assuming a broad Latin American label means universal eligibility.
Keep distinct funding routes distinct
BDC Capital operates separate company-investment strategies, while public or regional organizations can offer more than one funding route. Revolution and Cultivation also describe multiple funds. Select the actual company-investment vehicle and count each manager once.
An office location, an accelerator, fund-of-funds allocation or portfolio connection does not itself guarantee an available startup investment or introduction.
Investor profiles and official routes
These profiles are a research aid, not a performance ranking. Read the current strategy and portfolio before sharing a deck. A public contact route does not establish that a firm has available allocation for your round.

Dalus Capital: official investment information

State where the company currently operates and what expansion has actually been validated; its global outreach is not automatic eligibility for every market.
IGNIA: official investment information
DILA Capital
Venture capital firm. Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs doing business in Latin America, and US Hispanic-market companies. DILA explicitly describes its language and market focus. Its published form lists several rounds, but a form option is not proof that every fund invests at each stage.

Methodology, research date and local guides
Research checked October 29, 2026 by the Finta Editorial Team with AI-assisted source review. We reconciled provider names from our existing city research and reviewed current official strategy, portfolio, location or founder-contact pages. Firms with multiple offices count once; angel networks count as networks, not one committed pooled fund. We distinguish local presence from investment mandate and company eligibility. We do not infer check sizes, investor returns, lead behavior or open allocation from a portfolio logo.
We reused provider-level research from US, Canadian and Latin American guides and checked current official strategies and founder routes. This continent-level comparison focuses on US, Canada and Mexico-connected research; local coverage in other countries remains incomplete. Managers appearing in multiple cities or operating several funds are counted once.
