Research venture capital in the Middle East by matching the actual company connection, funding milestone and investor mandate. A Lebanese diaspora founder, a Saudi enterprise-software team and an Israeli deep-technology startup may need different investor routes and different evidence.
This selected guide compares 18 investor and funding routes across the Gulf, Levant and Israel. It separates local and regional investment strategies, early entry from growth capital, and direct company investment from platform programs. It is not a ranking or a promise that any manager invests in every market.
Start with the company connection and financing job
- Record where the company operates. Separate founder connection, incorporation, customers and future expansion.
- Check the published mandate. A GCC focus, a Lebanon connection and an Israel-specific founder thesis are different filters.
- Match the next milestone. Pre-seed technical proof and growth-stage commercial scaling need different evidence.
- Find the right vehicle. Venture investment, credit, fund allocations and company-building programs have distinct processes.
Compare 18 Middle Eastern investor routes
Use provider type, stage and geographic connection together. An office address is not a promise of eligibility. Where the current source does not establish a precise entry stage, the table leaves that question open.
Selected Middle East-relevant investors researched October 29, 2026. Country mandates and investment vehicles differ; a regional label does not establish eligibility everywhere. On small screens, scroll the table sideways to see every column.

Distinguish local mandates from regional labels
Khwarizmi explicitly names the GCC; LAIN requires a genuine Lebanon connection; Aleph describes an Israeli-founder focus. BECO describes a core UAE and Saudi focus with founding-team location expectations, while Middle East Venture Partners presents a regional platform. These are different research routes, not a shared eligibility rule.
Start with the company's actual founder, operating and customer connections. An office or a portfolio logo is useful context but does not confirm a new applicant's eligibility. Verify current criteria with the responsible team.
Separate early investment, growth and other products
Grove describes pre-seed and seed investment; LAIN states pre-seed and seed; STV describes venture and growth strategies. Shorooq and Pitango each describe multiple investment strategies. Identify the fund and entry stage before comparing names.
Impact46 separates venture activity from credit advisory, and Beyond Capital describes direct company investments alongside fund allocations and ecosystem programs. Those activities should not be counted as separate independent startup cheques.
Match the actual technical and customer evidence
Glilot distinguishes cybersecurity and AI investment strategies. Grove describes enterprise AI and deep technology, while Khwarizmi describes a sector-agnostic GCC thesis. Different managers can look at the same company through different investment lenses.
Explain the product, buyer and what the next financing will validate. A category label or speculative regional expansion alone is not evidence of investment fit.
Build a cross-border research queue responsibly
Choose a short set of managers whose current fund, stage and market descriptions match the company. Record each official source and date, the company facts supporting fit and a specific unanswered question.
Do not infer shared legal rules, automatic investor access or introductions from geography. If corporate structure or cross-border financing questions arise, consult the company's qualified advisers.
Investor profiles and official routes
These profiles are a research aid, not a performance ranking. Read the current strategy and portfolio before sharing a deck. A public contact route does not establish that a firm has available allocation for your round.
Pitango
Multi-strategy venture platform. Israeli roots with global company-building reach. Choose Pitango First, Growth or HealthTech before evaluating fit. The current strategy separates early company development, venture growth and health-related investment. A research-intensive team should connect technical validation to the next commercial milestone. Count the manager once, not once for every fund or portfolio company.

Aleph
Early-stage venture firm. Explicit focus on Israeli entrepreneurs building global businesses. Aleph's current About page connects its early-stage strategy to Israeli entrepreneurs and international business building. Prepare the company's insight, first customer evidence and global-market case. Ampliphy is described as an internal support operation, not another investor to count. The public page does not establish cheque size or available allocation.
Aleph: official investment information
TLV Partners
Early-stage venture firm. Backs Israeli founders with global ambitions. TLV's current proposition starts with Israeli founders at day zero and supports company development beyond the initial stage. Separate the round you are raising from later outcomes in its portfolio. Explain what the founding team knows, what the product proves today and which customer question remains unresolved.
TLV Partners: official investment information
Glilot Capital Partners
Cybersecurity and AI venture platform. Israel-linked venture platform; confirm the relevant fund's mandate. The current site distinguishes G-Seed from G+ and describes separate company-building support. Select the right financing stage, then explain the security or AI operating problem and evidence from buyers. Mach5 support and G-Club wealth services are not extra independent startup funds or automatic customer introductions.
Glilot Capital Partners: official investment information · Contact Us
Grove Ventures
Early-stage technology venture firm. Early partner to Israeli founding teams. Grove states its initial pre-seed and seed focus directly. A technical team should show the underlying advantage, who needs it and what capital will validate next. Its founder tools, talent resources and operating support complement the investment proposition; they should not be counted as separate capital commitments.
Grove Ventures: official investment information · Contact
BECO Capital
Multi-stage venture platform. Core UAE and Saudi focus; verify founding-team location and market requirements. BECO's current investment manifesto describes a core focus on the UAE and Saudi Arabia and expectations for the founding team's physical location. It distinguishes this from operating teams in markets such as Jordan or Egypt that sell into the UAE or Saudi Arabia. Confirm how the current fund's criteria apply to the company.

Middle East Venture Partners
Regional venture firm. Dubai office within a regional investment platform. MEVP's current website separates founder funding from general contact and investor communications. Match the company's operating evidence to its early or growth-stage discussion. The application route is publicly linked, but its client-rendered form was not fully inspected; confirm the current submission process before sharing confidential material.

Nuwa Capital
Regional venture manager. Published locations in Dubai, Riyadh and Cairo. Nuwa's current site presents its investment, network and value-creation teams and a regional portfolio. Treat those examples as a starting point for research, not a universal sector or stage mandate. State the customer, market and financing milestone, then ask which current strategy evaluates that combination.
Nuwa Capital: official investment information
Shorooq
Multi-strategy investment platform. Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices; regional and separate global strategies. Select the strategy before selecting the brand. Bedaya addresses the beginning of a company, the Presight-Shorooq platform addresses global AI, and Qatalyst addresses proven late-stage businesses. Credit, private equity and investor co-investment products are not interchangeable startup venture routes.
Shorooq: official investment information
VentureSouq
Thematic venture manager. MENA-based manager with a global portfolio and Abu Dhabi regulatory presence. The current site labels fintech and climate strategies active and the earlier Global Seed strategy deployed. That is a useful reason to research the present fund rather than reuse an old generalist profile. An investor symposium or education program does not constitute a company funding offer.
VentureSouq: official investment information · Contact
Plus VC
Early-stage venture firm. MENA-focused investment strategy. Plus VC describes initial investment at seed and further capital for selected existing portfolio companies up to Series A. A new Series A applicant should not assume that follow-on language means unrestricted new entry at that stage. Use the official funding route and make the company's stage and regional operating facts explicit.

RAED Ventures
Early-stage venture firm. Middle East and North Africa focus; Saudi ecosystem connection. RAED describes early-stage investment in MENA. Explain the target market and actual company evidence, then confirm the current fund and founder application process.
RAED Ventures: official investment information · Contact
STV
Venture capital and growth-equity firm. Middle East and North Africa. STV identifies venture capital and growth equity, including a separate AI-focused strategy. Identify the relevant current vehicle instead of treating a training track or a portfolio round as a standard startup investment.
STV: official investment information
Impact46
Multi-strategy investment manager. Saudi and regional startup focus. Impact46 distinguishes venture capital from credit advisory. A company seeking equity should check the current venture vehicle rather than treating an advisory or credit service as a separate equity investor.
Impact46: official investment information · Contact Us
Khwarizmi Ventures
Venture capital firm. GCC focus; Riyadh base. Khwarizmi publishes a GCC investment focus and seed-to-Series A range. This is narrower than a promise to invest in every Middle Eastern market; confirm the applicant's specific connection.
Khwarizmi Ventures: official investment information · Contact Us
LAIN
Lebanon-connected early-stage investment vehicle. Founders with a genuine Lebanon connection, at home or in the diaspora. LAIN's founder page sets out its Lebanon connection and early-stage focus. It is operated by BY Venture Partners; count the vehicle and manager relationship once, not as two independent investors in this guide.
LAIN: official investment information
Beyond Capital
Multi-strategy investment and growth platform. Jordan-connected investor network and wider MENA programs. Beyond Capital describes direct investment, fund allocations and separate ecosystem programs. Identify the company-investment route and current market criteria rather than assuming every program is a startup fund.
Beyond Capital: official investment information · Contact
Asseily Ventures
Early-stage investment group. Beirut base; Europe, US and Middle East activity. Asseily describes an early-stage technology investment group and a Beirut address. An office and broad regional activity do not establish which current vehicle or country is available to a particular company.

A worked shortlist for a Lebanon-connected software team
Illustrative example, not an investment recommendation. A fictional founder with a Lebanon connection operates a B2B software company in Amman and has two regional pilot customers. The next financing would validate recurring usage and an initial sales process. A future Gulf launch is only a hypothesis.
Research questions for the fictional company
| Research route | Why it could matter | Question to verify |
|---|---|---|
| LAIN | Lebanon-connected pre-seed and seed founders | Does the actual founder connection satisfy the current published criteria? |
| Beyond Capital | Jordan-connected direct investments and regional support | Which company-investment route and present market criteria apply? |
| RAED Ventures | Early-stage MENA technology | Does the present team and fund evaluate the company's actual operating market? |
| Khwarizmi Ventures | GCC seed-to-Series A strategy | Is a GCC company or customer connection real, or only a future plan? |
| Glilot Capital Partners | Distinct security and AI strategies | Is there a genuine technical fit and relevant fund mandate? |

Methodology, research date and local guides
Research checked October 29, 2026 by the Finta Editorial Team with AI-assisted source review. We combined existing Finta geographic research with current official strategy, portfolio, location or founder-contact pages. Firms with multiple offices count once; angel networks count as networks, not one committed pooled fund. We distinguish local presence from investment mandate and company eligibility. We do not infer check sizes, investor returns, lead behavior or open allocation from a portfolio logo.
We reused provider-level research from existing Saudi, UAE and Israeli guides, added current official Jordan- and Lebanon-connected investment sources, and reviewed regional strategy and founder-route pages. The guide compares actual mandates across the Gulf, Levant and Israel rather than concatenating country lists. A manager with multiple vehicles or offices is counted once.
The selection is not exhaustive. A regional label, office or portfolio company does not establish eligibility, legal permission or an available allocation. Confirm the current vehicle and process directly.
Informational purposes only. Finta is not a law firm or accounting firm. This is general fundraising information, not personalized financial, legal or tax advice. Discuss financing instruments, company structures and tax consequences with your attorney or accountant.
This is a selected research directory, not an exhaustive register or sponsored ranking. Confirm the current vehicle, team and process directly before relying on a fit decision.
