Research venture capital in Asia by matching the company's operating market, milestone and investor's published mandate. A Japan-based research spinout, an Indian enterprise software team and a business expanding from Malaysia to Vietnam can need different capital and different evidence.
This selected guide compares 25 venture investors and investment platforms across South Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. It separates national and regional strategies, first investment and later portfolio support, and company equity from accelerators or fund-manager products. It is a research aid, not a ranking or comprehensive list of every Asian market.
Start with the company's actual market and next milestone
- List the operating facts. Separate company and founder location from customers, revenue markets and future expansion plans.
- Identify the current vehicle. A platform can manage separate country, stage and sector strategies.
- Match the entry round. A portfolio company's later financing is not necessarily a manager's first-investment stage.
- Check the founder route. Company investment, accelerator participation, corporate programs and fund-manager capital are different processes.
Compare 25 Asian investor routes
Use provider type, stage and geographic connection together. An office address is not a promise of eligibility. Where the current source does not establish a precise entry stage, the table leaves that question open.
Selected Asia-relevant venture investors researched October 29, 2026. A regional office or portfolio does not establish eligibility for every country or vehicle. On small screens, scroll the table sideways to see every column.

Compare local and cross-border mandates
Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India names its regional strategy, and Genesia describes investment activity spanning Japan, Southeast Asia and India. JAFCO's venture page describes its domestic Japanese strategy. Aleph explicitly focuses on Israeli entrepreneurs, while BECO describes a core UAE and Saudi focus and expectations for founding-team location. These scopes are not interchangeable.
Put the current official mandate next to the company's actual operating and founder connection. A local office or one portfolio example is useful context, but it does not prove a new applicant's eligibility.
Distinguish initial investment from a portfolio company's later round
Genesia describes seed-stage entry and additional support for existing portfolio companies. Grove describes pre-seed and seed. Peak XV and Global Brain describe broader platforms with multiple stages or vehicles. Select the relevant current strategy rather than copying a later financing from a portfolio announcement.
Describe what the next financing needs to prove: technical validation, a first customer, repeatable distribution or another specific milestone. Ask the investor which team and fund actually evaluate that stage.
Show the operating evidence behind a sector label
pi Ventures describes an India-connected deep-technology thesis; Glilot distinguishes cybersecurity and AI strategies; Vynn focuses on mobility and supply chains; Do Ventures describes a Vietnam-oriented Fund II thesis. Those are different screening questions, even when several companies use similar technology.
Explain the technical result, the buyer's problem and the market in which it can be adopted. Do not assume that a business qualifies simply because it mentions AI or has a relationship to a region.
Use regional and country research together
A continental guide is useful for comparing mandates, but a country guide can better explain local decision makers and founder routes. Build a small queue that includes locally relevant managers and regional funds whose stated strategy matches the actual company.
Keep the source date, country question and next action together. A broad list should make research more precise, not encourage sending the same pitch indiscriminately across jurisdictions.
Investor profiles and official routes
These profiles are a research aid, not a performance ranking. Read the current strategy and portfolio before sharing a deck. A public contact route does not establish that a firm has available allocation for your round.
pi Ventures
Deep-tech venture capital fund. India-linked teams, operations or strategic relevance. Its current published criteria describe an India connection rather than a simple office test. Explain the scientific or technical breakthrough and resolve how the company meets the relevant geographic condition.
pi Ventures: official investment information
Chiratae Ventures
Venture capital platform. Indian venture ecosystem. Its current site identifies a seed initiative alongside other portfolio and follow-on programs. Confirm the active process and responsible fund; do not repeat promotional turnaround claims as a promise to readers.
Chiratae Ventures: official investment information · Contact Us
Peak XV Partners
Venture investment platform. Indian offices within a broader international platform. The current site spans multiple stages and markets and has a separate Surge surface. Match the relevant team and program instead of treating all vehicles as a single first-round application.
Peak XV Partners: official investment information
Kalaari Capital
Venture capital platform. Indian company-building ecosystem. Its current site emphasizes Indian founders and technical opportunity, with several programs and community surfaces. Separate investment evaluation from fellowships or community participation and identify the responsible fund.
Kalaari Capital: official investment information · Contact Us
3one4 Capital
Venture capital firm. Indian company-building focus. The current proposition is partnering with early-stage companies building innovation out of India. Prepare the customer, product and company evidence that supports the relevant thesis rather than quote the firm's performance marketing.
3one4 Capital: official investment information · Contact Us
Pitango
Multi-strategy venture platform. Israeli roots with global company-building reach. Choose Pitango First, Growth or HealthTech before evaluating fit. The current strategy separates early company development, venture growth and health-related investment. A research-intensive team should connect technical validation to the next commercial milestone. Count the manager once, not once for every fund or portfolio company.
Pitango: official investment information · Contact Us
Aleph
Early-stage venture firm. Explicit focus on Israeli entrepreneurs building global businesses. Aleph's current About page connects its early-stage strategy to Israeli entrepreneurs and international business building. Prepare the company's insight, first customer evidence and global-market case. Ampliphy is described as an internal support operation, not another investor to count. The public page does not establish cheque size or available allocation.
Aleph: official investment information
Glilot Capital Partners
Cybersecurity and AI venture platform. Israel-linked venture platform; confirm the relevant fund's mandate. The current site distinguishes G-Seed from G+ and describes separate company-building support. Select the right financing stage, then explain the security or AI operating problem and evidence from buyers. Mach5 support and G-Club wealth services are not extra independent startup funds or automatic customer introductions.
Glilot Capital Partners: official investment information · Contact Us
Grove Ventures
Early-stage technology venture firm. Early partner to Israeli founding teams. Grove states its initial pre-seed and seed focus directly. A technical team should show the underlying advantage, who needs it and what capital will validate next. Its founder tools, talent resources and operating support complement the investment proposition; they should not be counted as separate capital commitments.
Grove Ventures: official investment information · Contact
Coral Capital
Japan-focused venture investor. Japanese startup ecosystem; cross-border capital connections. Its current platform spans several company stages and combines capital with a portfolio ecosystem. State whether the company needs first-product validation or a later scaling round. Talent and community resources are support propositions, not evidence that a prospective company has been accepted or will receive a particular outcome.
Coral Capital: official investment information · Official investment-team contact
Genesia Ventures
Seed-stage venture firm. Japan, Southeast Asia and India. Its current strategy distinguishes seed entry from additional funding beyond Series A for existing portfolio companies. Do not describe that follow-on capability as an unrestricted new Series B mandate. Explain the company's actual operating market and the customer or industry structure it changes.
Genesia Ventures: official investment information · Official team contact · Additional official strategy or location evidence
Global Brain
Independent venture manager with multiple fund strategies. Japan and wider Asian, North American and European activity. The published investment page gives a broad sector and stage proposition and a staged review process. Identify the relevant vehicle and strategic boundaries before treating the entire platform as a fit. Corporate collaboration and investment decisions are distinct, and the fastest advertised process is not a guaranteed decision time.
Global Brain: official investment information · Official company contact
JAFCO
Venture and buyout investment platform. Domestic Japanese venture-investment strategy. Use the venture route when researching a young company. The current page explicitly discusses founders before or shortly after formation, while buyout investing is a separate business. Do not combine the group's historical overseas and buyout totals into a claim about current domestic startup opportunities.
JAFCO: official investment information · Official investment contact
Beyond Next Ventures
Deep-tech investment and company-creation firm. Tokyo headquarters; separate India activities. The current investment approach connects research commercialization with financing and company building. Explain the technical result, management gap and next commercial milestone. Its company-creation, talent and accelerator activities support different jobs and should not be counted as additional independent investors.
Beyond Next Ventures: official investment information · Official company-building and funding contact · Additional official strategy or location evidence
BECO Capital
Multi-stage venture platform. Core UAE and Saudi focus; verify founding-team location and market requirements. BECO's current investment manifesto describes a core focus on the UAE and Saudi Arabia and expectations for the founding team's physical location. It distinguishes this from operating teams in markets such as Jordan or Egypt that sell into the UAE or Saudi Arabia. Confirm how the current fund's criteria apply to the company.
BECO Capital: official investment information · Founder enquiry instructions · Additional official strategy or location evidence
Middle East Venture Partners
Regional venture firm. Dubai office within a regional investment platform. MEVP's current website separates founder funding from general contact and investor communications. Match the company's operating evidence to its early or growth-stage discussion. The application route is publicly linked, but its client-rendered form was not fully inspected; confirm the current submission process before sharing confidential material.
Middle East Venture Partners: official investment information · Publicly linked founder application · Additional official strategy or location evidence
Nuwa Capital
Regional venture manager. Published locations in Dubai, Riyadh and Cairo. Nuwa's current site presents its investment, network and value-creation teams and a regional portfolio. Treat those examples as a starting point for research, not a universal sector or stage mandate. State the customer, market and financing milestone, then ask which current strategy evaluates that combination.
Nuwa Capital: official investment information
Shorooq
Multi-strategy investment platform. Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices; regional and separate global strategies. Select the strategy before selecting the brand. Bedaya addresses the beginning of a company, the Presight-Shorooq platform addresses global AI, and Qatalyst addresses proven late-stage businesses. Credit, private equity and investor co-investment products are not interchangeable startup venture routes.
Shorooq: official investment information
Gobi Partners
Asia-focused venture platform. Based in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur; separate regional strategies. Use the Asia-wide platform and Kuala Lumpur/Hong Kong presence as starting context, then identify the specific vehicle. A Malaysian portfolio example does not establish criteria for a company in another Southeast Asian country.
Gobi Partners: official investment information · Contact
Vynn Capital
Sector-focused venture firm. Kuala Lumpur office and Southeast Asian investment focus. The Southeast Asian supply-chain and mobility focus is a useful sector-and-market filter. Show the operating problem and adoption evidence. Potential portfolio synergy is a question to research, not a guaranteed distribution partnership.
Vynn Capital: official investment information · Official public enquiry route · Additional official strategy or location evidence
Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India
Regional venture firm. Explicit Southeast Asia and India strategy; distinct from other Vertex funds. Use this team's own remit rather than another Vertex geography's criteria. Country filters and a regional portfolio help research operating context, but they do not prove an available cheque or that every market and structure qualifies. Identify the partner, vehicle and actual round.
Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India: official investment information · Contact
Golden Gate Ventures
Singapore-based venture firm. Singapore base with published offices including Vietnam and Indonesia. The current site establishes the firm's identity and office network. Use those as presence facts, not universal eligibility. Review the current team and strategy before selecting a country or stage. Do not conflate the firm with unrelated businesses that have similar names.
Golden Gate Ventures: official investment information · Contact
Jungle Ventures
Regional venture platform. Explicit Southeast Asia and India focus; Singapore base. Jungle describes several stages and a separate earliest-company route. Identify the actual entry strategy instead of assuming an existing portfolio company's later round is the firm's first-investment criterion. Cross-border ambitions still need first-market customer and operating evidence.
Jungle Ventures: official investment information
East Ventures
Southeast Asian venture platform. Regional strategy with substantial Indonesian ecosystem activity. The current site combines a regional venture proposition with Indonesian reports and initiatives. Distinguish venture funding from a competition's catalytic award or community program. State the company's first customer market and what has actually been validated before the expansion narrative.
East Ventures: official investment information · Contact Us
Do Ventures
Vietnam-focused venture firm. Vietnam growth and SME digitization; wider Southeast Asian company context. Use the current Fund II thesis rather than copying old sector labels. Explain the Vietnamese customer or manufacturing problem and how technology creates productivity or resource benefits. A published pitch-to-funding process is a preparation guide, not a guaranteed sequence or timetable.

A worked shortlist for an India-to-Southeast-Asia software team
Illustrative example, not an investment recommendation. A fictional Bengaluru-based team builds workflow software for wholesale distributors. It has two paying Indian customers and is testing whether the product fits a Singapore-based distributor. The planned financing would fund customer validation and integrations; expansion revenue is not yet established.

Methodology, research date and local guides
Research checked October 29, 2026 by the Finta Editorial Team with AI-assisted source review. We combined existing Finta geographic research with current official strategy, portfolio, location or founder-contact pages. Firms with multiple offices count once; angel networks count as networks, not one committed pooled fund. We distinguish local presence from investment mandate and company eligibility. We do not infer check sizes, investor returns, lead behavior or open allocation from a portfolio logo.
We reused provider-level research from existing Indian, Japanese, Israeli, UAE and Southeast Asian guides and checked current official strategy and founder-route sources. The continent guide adds a cross-market comparison instead of concatenating country or city articles. It is selected rather than exhaustive; a manager with several funds or offices is counted once, while independently managed regional teams are not silently merged.
A current source or a regional portfolio is not evidence of open allocation or company eligibility. Verify the relevant vehicle, stage, market and process with the responsible team.
